Support the Work
A gift to Community Organizing Alliance is an investment in the leadership and future of Black and immigrant youth across Maine.
What does a donation make possible?
Through cohort-based civic education programs, workforce development initiatives, and hands-on organizing experience, COA equips young people with the skills and confidence to navigate public systems, advocate for their communities, and participate fully in Maine’s economy and democracy.
Our programs create stable, supportive spaces where youth build lasting leadership capacity and prepare for meaningful careers.
Your support also sustains the infrastructure that makes this work possible:
- Safe gathering spaces for workshops and community forums
- Stipends that allow young people to participate without financial strain
- Trained staff who coordinate programs and mentor emerging leaders
- Digital tools that help us reach and inform broader audiences
Donate to COA
Community Organizing Alliance gained its own 501(c)3 nonprofit organization designation in the spring of 2025. Donations are tax deductible.
In moments of heightened tension — whether related to ICE activity, harmful rhetoric, or community violence — your donation ensures COA can respond quickly while continuing to strengthen long-term community resilience.
Thank you.
