We need your support!
COA will be out in full strength this fall making sure our neighbors are informed and ready to vote.
We know that lasting change requires addressing the systems and institutions that have created and sustained inequity in our communities. One way communities can build power and influence those systems is through civic participation and voting.
Voting is one of the most important tools available to our communities, yet fear, misinformation, language barriers, and other obstacles can make exercising that right difficult. Our work is about making sure people have the information, support, and confidence they need to participate safely and make their own voices heard.
How to volunteer
Canvassing: Going door to door and talking to people in Lewiston/Auburn or Portland about the upcoming election.
Phonebanking: Either at your home or our office calling voters across the state to inform them about the upcoming election.
Please fill out the form on this page, and one of our organizers will reach out to let you know how you can get involved.
Thanks for your support!
